Alertuy

For small businesses without a safety specialist: you type a task, such as “welding railings on a second floor”, and Alertuy tells you what can go wrong and how to prevent it. Free, with no sign-up and no personal data stored.

What it does

• Identifies the task’s hazards with SUNAFIL’s IPERC method (Peru’s labor inspection authority), from most to least severe.
• Proposes controls in the order required by Law 29783 (art. 21): eliminate, isolate, work safely, and, last of all, protective equipment.
• Asks “Was this helpful?” to improve with every use.
• It is an orientation guide: it does not replace an Occupational Safety and Health specialist.

How it is built

Artificial intelligence (a language model, Llama 3.3) on Cloudflare, with instructions based on SUNAFIL’s IPERC Manual and Law 29783. I measured its quality with my own evaluator: real tasks with their expected hazards, averaging several runs. The improvements raised accuracy from 58% to 77%. It has a daily usage cap so it runs at no cost.
